This is a beautiful brick orange silk fukuro obi woven with colourful gold and silver trees. The traditional tree designs are woven in silk and metallic threads on a shiny, brick orange silk background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of orange silk. The reverse is also orange silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
