This pale metallic silver silk fukuro obi is woven with silk and metallic threads in various pastel colours. The Japanese traditional woven fan pattern is woven in pretty metallic pastels on a pale metallic silver background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of a pale silver/grey metallic silk. The reverse is the same silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
