This bronze/gold silk fukuro obi is richly woven with an elaborate floral and cloud design design. The Japanese designs are woven in silk and metallic threads on a gold and red/bronze background background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of tan silk. The reverse is also a tan silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
