This pale gold and cream silk fukuro obi is richly woven with an elaborate floral design. The Japanese floral designs are woven in silk and metallic threads on a gold and cream background background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of cream silk. The reverse is also a cream silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
