This is an unusual fukuro obi woven with metallic green and brown threads. The abstract designs are woven in lacquered threads on a metallic lime green background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of lime green metallic silk. The reverse is a plain black silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
