This pretty fukuro obi is woven with gold and silk pastel threads. The traditional and butterfly designs are woven in silk and metallic threads on a brick coloured silk background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of brick coloured silk. The reverse is also brick coloured silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
