This is a richly woven silver fukuro obi There are four ares of groups of woven gold cranes and the remainder of the front is metallic silver. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of silver silk. The reverse is black silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
