This is a gorgeous fukuro obi woven with silk and metallic threads. The traditional motifs are woven in silk threads on a metallic pink and black background. Typically, about 70% of the front is patterned and the remainder consists of a silvery white coloured silk. The reverse is also a silvery white coloured silk. It would look terrific as a wall hanging, a table runner or across the end of a bed. This obi does not have a stiff inner core.
